I know this isn't terribly enthralling, and certainly not profound after 5 weeks of non-blogging. I've been sick a lot this year already. Trying to fight off my 3rd cold for the year! Ridiculous, I know. But having been sick so much this year already, I feel that I'm quite in tune with my body. I seem to know when I'm getting sick. I know most people do when waking up with sore throats and such, but mine is a weirder sort of sign. I can taste really bad breath! It's a really odd thing. I know that we all, at times, have bad breath and we're either oblivious to it or we pop in some gum. But I know I'm getting a cold when I can taste that I have foul breath. Very odd. So apparently I've been smoking out people with my bad breath antics being that 3 times in a 3 month span is a LOT to be sick. Not a fan.
But, that was a side track. What I was originally going to say...regarding PM meds...is that I like the feeling of the Tylenol PM cold and Nyquil meds kicking in (mind you, I don't use them in combo, just listing them as an example). It almost feels like it starts in my toes and works its way up. But it's like the fun tingling, almost like you would do with body checks for you psych minded people. Telling your toes to go to sleep, then your calves, then your knees, etc. Except I don't have to do the work! Pretty soon it'll work its way to my brain, so I'll probably keep this short. It is making its way to my fingers, so I blame the meds for typos :).
I have a doctor's appt on Monday, so hopefully I can figure out 1) why I'm getting sick so often, 2) why I can't sleep at night and 3) why I am starting to nod off when I'm not even tired!! Not a fan!! and we'll throw in a 4) why am I so jacked up??
Goodnight!
Mmmm tingle! I can't WAIT to when I can use Nyquil again when I am sick. I HOPE that I don't get sick again until POST-breastfeeding!!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes hopefully the dr. can answer and solve some of those issues. :)
Congrats on blogging again! Hope it isn't as long between posts. hehe
Just FYI, out of all the "PM" meds... I've found Advil PM works the best.. and this is from someone that works a crappy graveyard shift!!!
